| Peanut butter generally is a great gift to mankind; basing a cereal around it should, in theory, bring about partying taste buds and a contented stomach. Add to that the other half of the Reese's equation - chocolate - and you have the potential for a culinary masterpiece. Unfortunately however, it's just not very peanut buttery. And the chocolate portion doesn't really combine like it should. Other aspects are good. Crunch while in milk is superb, subtle even, definitely not a "hard" crunch. Sugar content is about right, packed full but not overly so. Very limited artificial aftertaste. But yeh, it's just not hitting those high notes. A missed opportunity. |
